A Room of One’s Own, which is Virginia Woolf’s early feminist masterpiece, sounds the clarion call of women's liberation ideology. The author tends to explore the theory and practice of female literary creation in a woman’s vision and mind. She puts an emphasis on clear and full portraying the phenomenon that women suffer great gender discrimination in the patriarchal society and strongly calls for women’ awakening. The author is engaged in literary creation only belongs to women through the unique language and expression of women with the use of her pen as well as encourages women to speak out what they are thinking. A Room of One’s Own explains the issue of women's living conditions and creatively puts forward the "dual nature of the body" theory, not only opens up a precedent for women, but also lays the foundation of the rise of various feminist schools.
