大学英语教学反思1

　　大学公共英语教学**关乎如何培养新一代高素质人才，提高我国国际竞争力的大局。自20xx 年3 月始，全国大学本科公共英语教学**进入实施阶段。时至今日，“反思大学公共英语教学”方面的研究不少，但通过广泛**的方式研究的并不多见。

　　本文涉及高校的大学公共英语多年来一直实行分课型的教学**，即，分为大学英语读写和大学英语听说两门课型，给该校非英语专业学生上四个学期的大学英语课程，总计256 学时，其中大学读写课总学时160，大学听说课总学时96。为了进一步深化该校大学公共英语教学**，本文通过问卷**（或访谈）的方式对该校的大学英语教学现状进行较深入的**和分析，以期给下一步的大学公共英语教学**提供参考依据。

　　1 问卷**

　　由于各类英语笔试成绩的局限性，分数不能全面反映学生的英语能力，既反映不出“说”方面的能力，也反映不出学生的真实心声。为了更充分地论证本研究的最终结果，本研究者广泛收集了该校学生对大学英语教学的反馈意见，深入细致地对已经完成大学英语课程学习的三个不同年级，共计2232 名学生进行了问卷**，并访谈了部分学生。**结果及分析如下：

　　1.1 **一

　　**一主要针对该校20xx 级（在读本科三年级）化工等专业、08 级（在读本科四年级）公共事业管理、网络工程、法学等专业共1809 名学生进行，并随机访谈了部分学生。

　　（1）选择项**结果

　　就“总的来说本科阶段大学英语课的设置或教学对学生英语水*的循序渐进有无帮助”这一问题，60%的学生选择“一般”，27%的觉得帮助“很大”；90%的学生认为“大学英语学习（含教学和自学）是通过大学英语四级考试或四级考试取得好成绩的最重要因素”。

　　在“就读本科期间，读或写的水*比听或说的水*，基金项目：本文系湖北省教育厅科学技术研究重点项目（D20101503）、湖北省教育厅教学研究项目（20xx）以及武汉工程大学重点教学建设工程项目课题《大学英语课程对本科生学业的支撑研究》（Z2011016 ）的阶段性研究成果之一。

　　哪一方面提高得更多”问题上，82%的学生认为“读或写的水*提高得更多”，15%的选“听力水*提高得最多”，8%的学生认为“说的水*提高得更多”；在“本科期间， ‘听、说、读、写’能力的提高”方面，40%的学生认为“主要通过课堂教学来实现”，10%的认为“通过自主学习”，50%的认为“通过课堂教学和自主学习两个途径共同作用”；另外，75%的学生觉得“学习策略的运用对本科阶段自主学习英语能力的提高显得很重要”。

　　（2）建议项**结果

　　在“请你对大学英语教学给出宝贵的意见和建议”中，被**的学生提出了很多有价值的建议和意见。大多数学生肯定了该校多年来实施的听说、读写分课型教学的做法，10%的学生建议“每天都上英语课”，65%以上的学生建议“增加英语课时”，88%的学生建议“尤其要增加听说课的学时，增加听说时间，加强听说能力，避免学生毕业后说出‘结结巴巴’的英语”。

　　80%的学生提出“应加强学生在课堂的互动问答，增加学生口头表达的机会”，20%的学生提出“要专门给学生训练口语”。75%的学生建议“给学生提供更多的用英语交流的机会，让学生参与听说环境，给学生自我表现的空间，如，让学生**做演讲，多开设外教英语课，听****，多听原声电影，给学生创造朗读环境，应寻找机会多训练学生的英语口语”。

　　除听说方面的建议外，80%的学生认为“学校要提高硬件设备的质量，多利用音像进行英语教学和学习”；10%的学生提议“要给学生提供更多应试技巧培训”；55%的建议“要注重提高学生的自学意识、加强学习策略的学习，培养学生自主学习能力”。

　　为了更广泛了解学生对大学英语教学的反馈意见，提高本研究的说服力，研究者又针对已经完成大学英语本科教学的在读研究生（即20xx 级本科生）进行了**（或访谈），被**（访谈）学生本科时就读生物化工、无机非、自动化、计算机、电气、管理、高分子材料、化学工程、高分子化学与物理、*****基本原理、企业管理、法学等专业，共计423 名学生。

　　对**二的结果进行统计后发现， 68%的被**学生认为“大学英语这门课程是本科阶段非常重要的课程”。

　　70%的被**学生“对提高听说能力的呼声最高，远远高于其他几项英语能力（阅读能力、翻译能力、写作能力）”。

　　在访谈和问卷**中，超过80%的学生认为“本科阶段大学英语课对考研、工作和就业都很有帮助”。82%的.学生认为“大学英语教学对他们的英语水*的提高有着积极的作用”。 65%的学生认为“课堂教学是获取听说能力的有效方式”。80%的认为“在本科阶段，大学英语最需要解决的是教学方法或学习方法方面的问题”，同时，他们认为“本科阶段的自主学习显得非常重要”。

　　2 教学反思

　　根据**和随机访谈的结果，大学英语本科教学对大学英语四级和考研英语的重要性显而易见。但是，从整体上看，在该校现行的大学英语教学中，学生的英语产出技能、书面语表达能力较弱，尚不能很好地适应社会发展的实际需要。该校的大学英语教学设施、课时安排及教学环境还不能完全满足学生的实际需求。面对大学英语教学中存在的这些问题，教学实施者及管理者们对大学英语教学的现状进行深刻反思和及时总结显得尤为必要。

　　2.1 加强听说训练，增加听说学时

　　随着我国与国际交往日益频繁，社会对英语综合应用能力，尤其对听说能力的需求日益增强。当今的毕业生被要求使用英语口语和听力来通过面试关卡及开展今后工作的人数已**增加。根据访谈部分毕业生的结果表明，用人单位对应聘人员英语能力的要求按重要性依次为说、读、听、写。 社会发展对各类人才英语能力的需要已经转化为学生对课程的内在需求。

　　从全国研究生入学复试时，多数高校设置了英语口语面试关卡。本文通过对已经学完该校大学英语课程的学生的问卷**也发现，学生对英语听说能力的需求明显高于读写能力。 他们迫切希望进一步提高口语能力。

　　2.2 课堂教学和自主学习齐头并进

　　在以英语作为外语的社会环境里，听说读写的技能都是后天培养的。相比之下，听说的环境要远比读的环境差很多，说英语的机会就显得更少。没有说英语的环境和需求，“哑巴英语”便成了常态。虽然，随着大学英语教学条件的逐步改善，该校学生可以在该校已经开设了多年的“英语自主学习中心”机房里按自己的水*和需要**选择不同程度的英语学习材料，设定自己的目标，决定学习进度，不断作出调整，满足不同层次的要求。但自主学习并不能替代课堂英语教学，问卷**一、二的结果“50%的学生认为在本科期间， ‘听、说、 读、写’能力的提高是通过课堂教学和自主学习两个途径共同作用”，以及“65%的学生认为在大学本科阶段英语课堂教学是获取听说能力的有效方式”也显示如此，因此自主学习不能替代教师在英语教学中的作用。

　　建构指定选修课程和任意选修课程两大模块。

　　指定选修课程可包括：

　　1） 语言技能类课程，如：中/高级听说、中/高级写作、中/高级翻译、中/高级阅读等；

　　金秋十月，中窑小学如火如荼的开展了十佳教师评比活动，我也积极的投入到此次活动中。我所执教的是四年级上册英语第三单元《Myfriends》。

　　在课堂开始导入环节，我设计了两个游戏帮助学生领会thin、

　　strong、active、quiet、big、small、tal、short和五官这些词的含义，在这一环节，既巩固学生myfriends中的新单词内容，还活跃课堂气氛，一开始就激发学生的积极性。

　　这次实习，我任xx（x）班的英语科任实***。本次实习有两项主要内容——英语听课和教学实习、辅助原班**管理工作实习。

　　刚到宜阳县城关镇西街学校，我在学校和指导教师的安排下，开始熟悉实习学校、班级情况，并随班听课，认真做好听课笔记与评议。听课是自己提升教学能力的捷径。通过听别人上课，学习他们处理教材的手法，汲取他们的教学经验，和他们一起探讨讲课技巧，将他们的教学方法运用于自己的教学之中，提高自己的教学水*。所以实习一开始，我先重点放在听课上，努力向学校优秀老师学习他们的教育方法和教学经验。在听课之后思考假如这堂课是我自己上，又该怎么设计，进行前后对比。实时调整授课节奏，授课方法。为了全方面了解学校课程安排以及学生总体情况，我还听不同科目不同老师的课，观摩不同老师的教学风格以及学生对其的不同反应，学习不同老师调动课堂气氛的技巧，以及同一老师在不同班级教授同一内容的时候教学方法的调整。通过两个星期的听课，我受益非浅。

　　大多数人看上一节课，无非就是经过备课、上课、评讲等这样一个流水线。然而看起来简单，可其中每个环节又有很多小的细节，俗话说：“台上一分钟，台下十年功。”教学中，首先，备课是一个必不可少，十分重要的环节，备学生，又要备教法。备课不充分或者备得不好，会严重影响课堂气氛和积极性，记得一位优秀的老师曾说过：“备课备不好，倒不如不上课，否则就是白费心机。”我明白到备课的重要性，因此，每天我都花费大量的时间在备课之上，认认真真钻研教材和教法，不满意就不收工。虽然辛苦，但事实证明是值得的。一堂准备充分的课，会令学生和老师都获益不浅。

　　其次上课，在指导老师的鼓励下，我讲了自己作为教师的第一节正式课，虽然以前有过家教和辅导经验，但这毕竟是作为实习教师的讲课。我了解到讲课起到教学主导作用，既要将知识教给学生，还要处理应急事件，掌控整个课堂。上课时导入时关键，一个好的开头就有一个好的结尾，这个方面我自己做的却不太好，对课堂的掌控不好，不能在一节课上完成我既定的教学任务，我知道自己应该实时改正。当然上好一堂课，任务设计也是关键。根据知识结构的不同，采用不同的教学方法，设计不同的教学情景，在情景中我也设置了不同的任务，这些任务都是围绕情景展开，任务环环相扣，贯穿课堂的始终，用任务来不断激发学生的成就感，更好的调动了学生的积极性。

　　再次，课后反思。为了进一步丰富自己的教学技能，提升自己的实践能力，更好的开展下一课教学工作，每次课后，需要了解学生掌握知识的程度，发现学生学习时所遇到的困难，及时调整教学节奏，改变教学方法；同时，开展自我反思，撰写教学反思，从教态、语言、板书、**技巧、与学生互动、对学生的思路引导等各方面入手，总结课堂优缺点，改正不足，发扬优点，在整个教学过程中，必须始终坚持以学生为主体的教学模式。

　　在班**老师的指导下，我顺利的开展辅助他的班级日常工作，主要包括督促他们学生的学习、纪律以及卫生，在**的同时，不忘给他们灌输一些道理，能结合他们的年龄特点进行思想道德教育。我每天第一个到教室，积极和学生多接触沟通，细心观察，较快地熟悉和掌握了学生的情况。每天早读、自习、课间操等等，我都会去和大家交流，慢慢地融入了这个班集体。学生也很喜欢实***，能像朋友一样和我聊天、诉苦，一些调皮的学生也能虚心听取我的教导，努力改正，和学生相处得非常融洽。

　　为期两周的实习生活在不知不觉中落下了帷幕，在这段时间里，我得到了一次较全面的、系统的锻炼，学到了很多在课本上和大学课堂里根本学不到的知识和技能，也体验到了很多人生中从未有过的经历。实习让我更清楚的了解到自己的优缺点，我会在今后生活中改正自己不足之处。也许在实习之初我并没有意识到它会给我带来这么深的感悟：实习不仅教会了我英语教学方面的知识，更重要的是它让我学会了生活中的点滴感动。这两周的所得，无论自己将来从事何种职业，都将使我终身受益！

　　这次实习，我任xx（x）班的英语科任实***。本次实习有两项主要内容——英语听课和教学实习、辅助原班**管理工作实习。

　　刚到宜阳县城关镇西街学校，我在学校和指导教师的安排下，开始熟悉实习学校、班级情况，并随班听课，认真做好听课笔记与评议。听课是自己提升教学能力的捷径。通过听别人上课，学习他们处理教材的手法，汲取他们的教学经验，和他们一起探讨讲课技巧，将他们的教学方法运用于自己的教学之中，提高自己的教学水*。所以实习一开始，我先重点放在听课上，努力向学校优秀老师学习他们的教育方法和教学经验。在听课之后思考假如这堂课是我自己上，又该怎么设计，进行前后对比。实时调整授课节奏，授课方法。为了全方面了解学校课程安排以及学生总体情况，我还听不同科目不同老师的课，观摩不同老师的教学风格以及学生对其的不同反应，学习不同老师调动课堂气氛的技巧，以及同一老师在不同班级教授同一内容的时候教学方法的调整。通过两个星期的听课，我受益非浅。

　　大多数人看上一节课，无非就是经过备课、上课、评讲等这样一个流水线。然而看起来简单，可其中每个环节又有很多小的细节，俗话说：“台上一分钟，台下十年功。”教学中，首先，备课是一个必不可少，十分重要的环节，备学生，又要备教法。备课不充分或者备得不好，会严重影响课堂气氛和积极性，记得一位优秀的老师曾说过：“备课备不好，倒不如不上课，否则就是白费心机。”我明白到备课的重要性，因此，每天我都花费大量的时间在备课之上，认认真真钻研教材和教法，不满意就不收工。虽然辛苦，但事实证明是值得的。一堂准备充分的课，会令学生和老师都获益不浅。

　　金秋十月，中窑小学如火如荼的开展了十佳教师评比活动，我也积极的投入到此次活动中。我所执教的是四年级上册英语第三单元《My friends》。

　　在课堂开始导入环节，我设计了两个游戏帮助学生领会thin、

　　strong、active、quiet、big、small、tal、short和五官这些词的含义，在这一环节，既巩固学生my friends中的新单词内容，还活跃课堂气氛，一开始就激发学生的积极性。

　　然后我设置悬念，告诉学生我将带来一个大朋友一个小朋友和大家认识。在展示大朋友之前，我先用英语来描述这个大朋友，让学生根据所听到的去猜Who is he？而第二个朋友则是先展示出来，让学生先了解这是谁，然后根据自己的观察用英语说说这个小朋友。在这个环节中，我训练了学生听、读、说的能力。还是比较全面的对学生展开练习，比较失误的一点是，如果在描述第二个小朋友时，先让学生进行小组讨论，四人合作共同来向大家用英语描述并用中文翻译出来，我想这样应该是更全方面的让学生的能力得到了训练。

　　接下来就让学生在小组里讨论、说说自己的朋友，然后请小组成员上来跟全班同学说说自己的朋友，并让学生猜猜What’s hisher name？ Who is shehe？，在这个环节中我发挥学生的主体地位，让学生做课堂的主人，积极的参与，自主的学习。最后，要求学生当堂把自己的朋友写出来，从而训练学生写的能力。

　　在当前新课程**的形式下，如何让学生积极的参与，真正的做课堂的主人，发挥学生的主体性，并让学生的能力全方面的得到发展，提高综合语言应用能力，是我们老师值得思考的问题。

　　我相信只要坚持不懈地学习教育理论知识，提高自身素质；把握每一堂课的40分钟教学时间，不断增强教学机智；实践自己的构想，做一名反思型的教师，会让教学这门艺术在我的教学生涯中，少留一个遗憾！

　　摘要:在高校新课程**的背景下，分析大学英语教学体系，对大学英语教学进行反思，并且重建教学**，提升大学英语教学的实效性。

　　大学英语教学长期以来受到高校的关注，在新课改背景下，完善大学英语教育势在必行。本文对大学英语教学进行反思，在反思的基础上，完善课程设置、教材选择、教学方法和教学评价。

　　一、大学英语教学反思

　　(一)大学英语教学中课程设置反思

　　在传统的大学英语教学中，课程设置上非常注重英语基础，更多的将精力放在四六级的考核上。学生在学习中失去了主动性，除了应付考试外，大学生不能充分认识到英语学习的重要性。大学英语课程的设计不能提升学生的专业英语能力，课程设置非常不科学。

　　(二)大学英语教材选择的反思

　　大学英语教材应该让学生掌握更多的**文化，从而使学生了解中**的差异，才能更好的学习英语，提升学生的语言和文化素养。然而，很多大学英语教材不能涉及到**文化，导致学生在学习语言后，不能结合文化背景，在交流中让人贻笑大方。大学生不能结合*传统文化和**文化，掌握不同文化之间的差异，在跨文化交际能力的培养上存在问题。

　　(三)大学英语教学方法的反思

　　在传统的大学英语教学环节中，教学方法非常单一和僵化，不能切实提升学生的语言能力。很多大学教师强迫学生记忆单词、练习语法，使学生产生抵触情绪，导致大学英语教学的效果不能充分的发挥。在传统的教学体系中，学生不能主动的去探索知识，限制了学生英语能力的提升。

　　二、新课程**下大学英语教学重建

　　(一)课程设置

　　在课程设置环节中，可以将大学英语分成三个主要部分，分别是通用英语、专业英语和跨文化交际。大学英语课堂时间有限，学校应该体现出办学特色，可以开设各类英语选修课程，学生可以根据自己今后的就业方向，选择不同的专业英语进行学习。如学习机械专业的学生可以选择机械英语，今后想从事商务方面的学生可以选择商务英语。跨文化交际课程分成英美文化、跨文化交际等，学生可以针对自己的需求自行选择课程。大学英语将通用英语设计为必修课，使学生有扎实的英语基础，然后再学习一些专业英语，切实提升他们的英语能力。现在，很多大学生对于英语的学习非常迷茫，他们学习英语的最主要目的就是为了应付四六级考试，但是这种应试教育方式并不能提升学生的听说能力。大学英语课程设置中，应该留给学生更多的实践，使学生可以自主的应用英语。学校可以开设英语角等活动，方便学生用英语沟通。在教学中，词汇教学中可以融入文化教学，通过一些习语和谚语的学习，可以使学生掌握**文化，了解中**文化的差异，使学生在学习英语中可以站在多视角。每个学期的英语教学都应该呈现不同的特点，第一学期可以重点进行阅读教学，提升学生的词汇量。第二学期可以在语言输入的基础上，使学生进行语言输出，使学生勇于用英语表达自己的观点。第三学期，学生掌握了一定的词汇和听说能力，可以培养学生的写作和翻译能力。第四学期在学生掌握了听、说、读、写、译等技巧后，培养学生的跨文化交际能力，提升学生的英语综合能力。在完成了基础教学后，教师可以为学生创造语言情境，让学生练习。

　　(二)教材选择

　　在大学英语学习中，一般会涉及到**文化、伦理等方面的内容。学生在学习英语中，要充分理解和尊重**文化，而且还要充分理解*传统文化。英语教材的内容应该更加广泛，不仅仅涉及到英美文化，同时也要涉及到*传统文化，宣传正能量。很多学生对**文化非常崇拜，但是对*传统文化却知之甚少。所以，在大学英语教学中，也要适当的融入*传统文化，提升大学生的文化自信。在教材的选择上，不能仅仅是为了满足四六级的考试。学校应该结合自身的办学特色，结合学生的需要，选择合适的教材。教材的编写应该结合学生的英语基础，编写不用难度的教材。大学英语教材一般都是通用英语，教育部门积极提倡立体化教材的建设。高校应该完善教材的编写工作，结合网络资源，丰富教材内容。在教材编写中，应该转变传统的工具论，将教材中渗透更多的人文知识。

　　(三)教学方法与**的改进

　　在传统的大学英语教学中，教师会耗费大量的课堂时间让学生记忆单词，理解复杂句型，这种教学方式效果并不好。如今，网络技术非常发达，教师上课的内容可以在网络上找到，教师的作用不突出。因此，教师应该转变传统的教学方式，多留时间给学生思考。留给学生更多的时间去解决问题，将课本上的知识以视频的方式展示出来。大学英语教学应该结合学生的个体差异，进行个性化教学。教学方法应该实现多元化，使不同基础的学生在学习中都能有所收获。大学英语教学中可以采用任务教学法、项目教学法等，教师不能拘泥于一种教学方法，应该结合学生的具体情况，选择最合适的教学方法。如今，多**技术在英语教学中得到广泛的应用，教师应该充分利用多**技术，为学生提供良好的学习情境。现代信息技术可以广泛的应用到大学英语教学中，可以转变大学英语教学的理念和内容。因此，教师在英语教学中应该高度的融入现代信息技术，激发学生的学习兴趣，为学生提供大量的资源。通过微课、慕课和翻转课堂等方式，提升学生的自主学习能力。现代教学**符合大学生的学**点，也符合他们的心理，可以提升大学英语教学质量。

　　三、结语

　　在大学英语教学中，教师应该掌握教学规律，尊重学生的个体差异，完善教学体系和课程设置，合理的选择大学英语教材，为学生提供更多的英语学习资源，采用多种考核方式，使课程**更加适应大学英语教学实际情况。在教学中确保教学体系、方式和结构的调整，提升大学生的英语交际能力和沟通能力。

　　也许，很多人并不是只是用来应付考试，更多的是因为他们也深切的体会到了英语的重要性。

　　很显然，英语仍是当今世界上最通行的，使用最广泛的语言。可以毫不夸张的说，除了本国语言，基本上所有的非英语国家都会把英语作为第一外语来学习。英语也作为一种文化，在各国家，各民族之间互通有无，增进了解。语言是一个国家文化的体现。通过语言的交流，在文化上进行互相补充，互相交流，在吸收**先进文化的基础上丰富和发展本国文化。通过语言来弥补本国文化上的欠缺。比如，喝的咖啡，过的圣诞节，情人节，都是通过语言这种文化媒介，然后被国人吸收肯定，从而融入到自己的国家文化当中。所以说语言的发展同样也促进着文化的发展，语言在文化交流与发展上的作用是无法替代的。

　　从通俗意义上讲，英语就是用来方便与老外交流的。这一点的确是非常容易理解。随着经济全球化，*的综合国力和全球影响力也越来越大，越来越多的**机构，企业在*设厂或办分支机构，越来越多的*企业走出国门，投资**，国家与国家之间的交流日益加深，最终体现在人与人之间的交流不断加大，加深。参与全球化，也就意味着你要有全球化的语言基础。无论*人学习英语，外国人学习中文等等这些都是最基本的语言基础。我们不能麻木等待而是要主动出击，尽早掌握这个语言的基础，你才可能更好的参与到这个全球化进程之中，充分施展自己的才华和智慧。

　　“师夷长技以制夷”，这也是我们学习英语的一个很重要的方面。欧美的工业社会发展业有200多年，在很多领域比如计算机，互联网，生物，医学等很多领域，欧**家仍走在世界的前列。而他们的理论成果的最初展示都是英语方式。虽然有很多书籍已被翻译成中文，但我仍然相信翻译成中文的仍是茫茫大海中很小一部分的，仍有绝大部分原创的书籍成果，个人文章观点并没有翻译成中文。而且在这个翻译过程中，**的技术仍在不断推陈出新，新的英语科技文章不断出现，如果都等到翻译出来，在时间就更加落后人家。还有，翻译者的水*往往对阅读者有很大的影响。只有自身掌握这门语言，才能完全领会作者写作的精髓，吸收并为己所用。

　　英语（English）是印欧语系-日耳曼语族-西日耳曼语支下的语言，由26个字母组合而成，英文字母渊源于拉丁字母，所谓教学反思，是指教师对教育教学实践的再认识、再思考，并以此来总结经验教训，进一步提高教育教学水*。

　　从小学到大学，苦读十来年英语，到用时却依然是会看不会说，这种“聋哑英语”的现象，是不少当代大学生心中的苦恼。为了改变这一现象，教育部**来启动了大学英语教学**，其实用为主，听说领先的原则同样在大学英语四六级考试的**中得到了充分体现。与大学英语四六级**相呼应，我国首套根据教育部20xx年颁布的《大学英语课程教学要求》编写的大学英语教材——《新世纪大学英语系列教材》去年12月出版，意味着大学公共英语教材将大变脸。那么，作为教育部大学英语教学**的重要组成部分，新一代大学英语教材**将从哪些方面有所变化，是否还有哪些不足？以新教材为本的大学英语教学**将对学生带来哪些影响？

　　新外语教材 三大变化

　　强调听说 会看更得会说

　　根据教育部颁布的《大学英语课程教学要求》，从三个方面对大学本科公共英语教学进行重大**，包括将原来的以阅读理解为主转变到现在的以听说为主；**现行的教学模式，将被动模式转变为综合应用为主的个性化和主动式的教学模式；全面提高大学生的英语综合实用能力，使我国的大学生在大学毕业时都能达到基本听懂英文广播、进行简单的英语交流和具备一定程度的写作与翻译能力。

　　由此，新一代大学英语教材和软件系统也开始“转型”，强调听说领先，从应试型向实用和兴趣型转变。在新教材中，更加注重锻炼学生的听说能力，加强学生的语言规范，而且更具有趣味性。此次面世的新教材，重视开发学习者的自我潜能，培养学生的英语综合应用能力特别是听说能力。大学英语教材首次提出英语教学“以学生为中心”的理念，重点是培养学生的听说能力。而且，教材中课程的设置完全针对了**后的新四六级英语考试。在**后的四六级新题型中，听力部分所占比例就由20%提高到35%。而教育部高教司司长张尧学不久前透露，教育部正在设计新的四、六级英语考试方案，新的题型将增加语言的实用能力方面的内容，更突出听、说能力的测试比重。“4年后要使60%以上的大学本科毕业生解决英语听说问题。”张尧学表示。

　　为了更好地体现实用性，新教材内容还根据大学生的实际情感、思想、生活经历“度身选材”，让学生更熟谙**文化内涵，更适应国际交流的要求。教写求职简历、奖学金申请信和制作英文网页，学会讲英语笑话，熟悉了解**节日庆典的来龙去脉，掌握重要国际**的名称、功能，这些以前教材中没有选入的极其实用的知识内容，此次都写入新教材中。

　　让学生感兴趣 展现语言之美

　　值得一提的是，新出版的这套教材中，还设有“Enjoy English”部分，第一次将英语教育与学生的兴趣结合在一起，让学生们在学习之外，通过教材感受英语的语言之美。对此，

　　南开大学公外教学部的梁老师深有感触地说，以往学生们大多觉得英语教材枯燥乏味，确实有选材内容与时代脱节、缺少趣味性及缺乏英语经典之作等方面的原因，此次新教材选材理念的转变，有助于改变学生们仅把英语作为语言工具的观念，让学生们在学习英语时能真正体会到语言之美。本版撰文除署名外

　　大学公共英语教学**关乎如何培养新一代高素质人才，提高我国国际竞争力的大局。自20xx 年3 月始，全国大学本科公共英语教学**进入实施阶段。时至今日，“反思大学公共英语教学”方面的研究不少，但通过广泛**的方式研究的并不多见。

　　本文涉及高校的大学公共英语多年来一直实行分课型的教学**，即，分为大学英语读写和大学英语听说两门课型，给该校非英语专业学生上四个学期的大学英语课程，总计256 学时，其中大学读写课总学时160，大学听说课总学时96。为了进一步深化该校大学公共英语教学**，本文通过问卷**（或访谈）的方式对该校的大学英语教学现状进行较深入的**和分析，以期给下一步的大学公共英语教学**提供参考依据。

　　1 问卷**

　　由于各类英语笔试成绩的局限性，分数不能全面反映学生的英语能力，既反映不出“说”方面的能力，也反映不出学生的真实心声。为了更充分地论证本研究的最终结果，本研究者广泛收集了该校学生对大学英语教学的反馈意见，深入细致地对已经完成大学英语课程学习的三个不同年级，共计2232 名学生进行了问卷**，并访谈了部分学生。**结果及分析如下：

　　1.1 **一

　　**一主要针对该校20xx 级（在读本科三年级）化工等专业、08 级（在读本科四年级）公共事业管理、网络工程、法学等专业共1809 名学生进行，并随机访谈了部分学生。

　　（1）选择项**结果

　　就“总的来说本科阶段大学英语课的设置或教学对学生英语水*的循序渐进有无帮助”这一问题，60%的学生选择“一般”，27%的觉得帮助“很大”；90%的学生认为“大学英语学习（含教学和自学）是通过大学英语四级考试或四级考试取得好成绩的最重要因素”。

　　在“就读本科期间，读或写的水*比听或说的水*，基金项目：本文系湖北省教育厅科学技术研究重点项目（D20101503）、湖北省教育厅教学研究项目（20xx）以及武汉工程大学重点教学建设工程项目课题《大学英语课程对本科生学业的支撑研究》（Z2011016 ）的阶段性研究成果之一。

　　哪一方面提高得更多”问题上，82%的学生认为“读或写的水*提高得更多”，15%的选“听力水*提高得最多”，8%的学生认为“说的水*提高得更多”；在“本科期间， ‘听、说、读、写’能力的提高”方面，40%的学生认为“主要通过课堂教学来实现”，10%的认为“通过自主学习”，50%的认为“通过课堂教学和自主学习两个途径共同作用”；另外，75%的学生觉得“学习策略的运用对本科阶段自主学习英语能力的提高显得很重要”。

　　（2）建议项**结果

　　在“请你对大学英语教学给出宝贵的意见和建议”中，被**的学生提出了很多有价值的建议和意见。大多数学生肯定了该校多年来实施的听说、读写分课型教学的做法，10%的学生建议“每天都上英语课”，65%以上的学生建议“增加英语课时”，88%的学生建议“尤其要增加听说课的学时，增加听说时间，加强听说能力，避免学生毕业后说出‘结结巴巴’的英语”。

　　80%的学生提出“应加强学生在课堂的互动问答，增加学生口头表达的机会”，20%的学生提出“要专门给学生训练口语”。75%的学生建议“给学生提供更多的用英语交流的机会，让学生参与听说环境，给学生自我表现的空间，如，让学生**做演讲，多开设外教英语课，听****，多听原声电影，给学生创造朗读环境，应寻找机会多训练学生的英语口语”。

　　除听说方面的建议外，80%的学生认为“学校要提高硬件设备的质量，多利用音像进行英语教学和学习”；10%的学生提议“要给学生提供更多应试技巧培训”；55%的建议“要注重提高学生的自学意识、加强学习策略的学习，培养学生自主学习能力”。

　　为了更广泛了解学生对大学英语教学的反馈意见，提高本研究的说服力，研究者又针对已经完成大学英语本科教学的在读研究生（即20xx 级本科生）进行了**（或访谈），被**（访谈）学生本科时就读生物化工、无机非、自动化、计算机、电气、管理、高分子材料、化学工程、高分子化学与物理、*****基本原理、企业管理、法学等专业，共计423 名学生。

　　对**二的结果进行统计后发现， 68%的被**学生认为“大学英语这门课程是本科阶段非常重要的课程”。

　　70%的被**学生“对提高听说能力的呼声最高，远远高于其他几项英语能力（阅读能力、翻译能力、写作能力）”。

　　在访谈和问卷**中，超过80%的学生认为“本科阶段大学英语课对考研、工作和就业都很有帮助”。82%的学生认为“大学英语教学对他们的英语水*的提高有着积极的作用”。 65%的学生认为“课堂教学是获取听说能力的有效方式”。80%的认为“在本科阶段，大学英语最需要解决的是教学方法或学习方法方面的问题”，同时，他们认为“本科阶段的自主学习显得非常重要”。

　　2 教学反思

　　根据**和随机访谈的结果，大学英语本科教学对大学英语四级和考研英语的重要性显而易见。但是，从整体上看，在该校现行的大学英语教学中，学生的英语产出技能、书面语表达能力较弱，尚不能很好地适应社会发展的实际需要。该校的大学英语教学设施、课时安排及教学环境还不能完全满足学生的实际需求。面对大学英语教学中存在的这些问题，教学实施者及管理者们对大学英语教学的现状进行深刻反思和及时总结显得尤为必要。

　　2.1 加强听说训练，增加听说学时

　　随着我国与国际交往日益频繁，社会对英语综合应用能力，尤其对听说能力的需求日益增强。当今的毕业生被要求使用英语口语和听力来通过面试关卡及开展今后工作的人数已**增加。根据访谈部分毕业生的结果表明，用人单位对应聘人员英语能力的要求按重要性依次为说、读、听、写。 社会发展对各类人才英语能力的需要已经转化为学生对课程的内在需求。

　　从全国研究生入学复试时，多数高校设置了英语口语面试关卡。本文通过对已经学完该校大学英语课程的学生的问卷**也发现，学生对英语听说能力的需求明显高于读写能力。 他们迫切希望进一步提高口语能力。

　　2.2 课堂教学和自主学习齐头并进

　　在以英语作为外语的社会环境里，听说读写的技能都是后天培养的。相比之下，听说的环境要远比读的环境差很多，说英语的机会就显得更少。没有说英语的环境和需求，“哑巴英语”便成了常态。虽然，随着大学英语教学条件的逐步改善，该校学生可以在该校已经开设了多年的“英语自主学习中心”机房里按自己的水*和需要**选择不同程度的英语学习材料，设定自己的目标，决定学习进度，不断作出调整，满足不同层次的要求。但自主学习并不能替代课堂英语教学，问卷**一、二的结果“50%的学生认为在本科期间， ‘听、说、 读、写’能力的提高是通过课堂教学和自主学习两个途径共同作用”，以及“65%的学生认为在大学本科阶段英语课堂教学是获取听说能力的有效方式”也显示如此，因此自主学习不能替代教师在英语教学中的作用。

　　从大学英语教学关系中处于最重要地位的学生来看，82%的学生认为大学英语教学对他们的英语水*有着积极的作用。68%的学生认为在大学本科阶段，大学英语这门课程是本科阶段非常重要的课程。在与学生进行的访谈中，大多数学生提到：英语能力的考试已经涉及到毕业、就业和晋升等人生重大利益。 超过80%的学生也认为本科阶段大学英语课对考研、工作和就业会很有帮助。

　　2.3 提供不间断的英语选修课

　　在完成大学公共英语基础课程的前提下，建构大学英语选修课课程体系。科学设置选修课课程，增大课程的选择性、多样性和发展性，鼓励学生的个性化发展， 在学生的四年本科期间提供不间断的英语选修课。

　　建构指定选修课程和任意选修课程两大模块。

　　指定选修课程可包括：

　　1） 语言技能类课程，如：中/高级听说、中/高级写作、中/高级翻译、中/高级阅读等；

　　2）语言应用类课程，如：英语学习策略、实用交际英语、**报刊阅读、实用口译、英语演讲、语言差异与翻译等。

　　任意选修课程可含：

　　1） 语言文化类：影视赏析、**文化导入、**戏剧欣赏、希腊神话、文学欣赏、英美概况、英语歌曲诗歌赏析、经典名著导读、跨文化交际等；

　　2）专业英语类：化工英语、法律英语、商务英语、外贸函电、科技英语、旅游英语、计算机英语等以素质教育为主，有关人文素养方面的课程。

　　“以学生为中心”的外语教学是**来为广大英语教师广泛关注的一种教学模式，它强调任何语言教学都应把学习者个人看作是学习的主体，一切教学活动都要以分析和满足学生的需求为出发点。这种教学模式下的英语课堂是教师与学生共同协作的课堂。学生作为学习的主体，直接参与到教学内容及教学实施**的决策过程中去。教学的目的旨在使学生的语言技能和学习技能得到发展，使学生作为学习者主体的意识得以增强，使学生的学习目的与学习需求得以明确。在该教学模式下，学习者个体的需求及学习者个体能力的培养和提高是教学中要特别重视的问题，同时也是外语教学的核心问题。
