Every one has his own dream. When I was a little kid , my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

I have got quite different experience from other girls. While they were playing toys at home, while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain, jumping in the heavy snow, pitching in the strong wind. Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete. Yeah ,of course ,Im an athlete, Im so proud of that all the time .

When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete. The training was really hard ,I couldnt bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that "God only help those who help themselves". During those hard days, I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age. To be an athlete is my most correct choice. But, I quite like my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse. I really didnt want to stop my sports career anyway.

Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream dee* rooted in my soul.

I have a dream that one day, I can run, jump and pitch just like I used to be.

I have a dream that one day, I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.

I have a dream that one day ,I can stand on the highest place at the Olympic games. With all the cameras pointing at me. I will tell everyone that Im so proud to be a Chinese athlete!

This is my hope .This is the faith that I continue my steps with!!!

With this faith, I will live though the strong wind and heavy rain ,never give up !

So let victory ring from my heart, from all of you. When we allow victory to ring .I must be the one!

In my imagination, Im a bird ,a magical bird. I carry my dreams all with me by my big wings. I fly though the mountains ,though the forests ,over the sea, to the sun ,the warmest place in the aerospace!

  Good morning !

my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher....

As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I sim* have a dream that supports my life.

I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.

I dream that one day the *s could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happinewith us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.

I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.

Students, guests , teachers and Honorable Judges

  Good morning !

my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher. My father was a teacher, and he taught me a lot. I worshiped him very much. On my tenth birthday, he asked me,“What do you want to be when you grow up?”I answered proudly,“I want to be a teacher like you!”On hearing this, my father was very happy and said to me, “Work hard and your dream will come true.” Not long ago, one of my primary school teachers was ill. She wanted me to take her place for two weeks. I was glad but nervous. My father said to me,“This is a good chance. Seize it! I wish you success!” When I came into the classroom, the children were very happy. I introduced myself to them. Soon, I got on well with them. They all liked me and I loved them. With my father and headmaster's help, I did the work very well. Now, I often mithose lovely children. That experience had made me even more interested in being a teacher in the future.

I have a dream

People returning to work after a career break: I call them relaunchers. These are people who have taken career breaks for elder care, for childcare reasons, pursuing a personal interest or a personal health issue. Closely related are career transitioners of all kinds: veterans, military spouses, retirees coming out of retirement or repatriating expats. Returning to work after a career break is hard because of a disconnect between the employers and the relaunchers. Employers can view hiring people with a gap on their resume as a high-risk proposition, and inpiduals on career break can have doubts about their abilities to relaunch their careers, especially if theyve been out for a long time. This disconnect is a problem that Im trying to help solve.

Now, successful relaunchers are everywhere and in every field. This is Sami Kafala. Hes a nuclear physicist in the UK who took a five-year career break to be home with his five children. The Singapore press recently wrote about nurses returning to work after long career breaks. And speaking of long career breaks, this is Mimi Kahn. Shes a social worker in Orange County, California, who returned to work in a social services organization after a 25-year career break. Thats the longest career break that Im aware of. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day OConnor took a five-year career break early in her career.

And this is Tracy Shapiro, who took a 13-year career break. Tracy answered a call for essays by the Today Show from people who were trying to return to work but having a difficult time of it. Tracy wrote in that she was a mom of five who loved her time at home, but she had gone through a porce and needed to return to work, plus she really wanted to bring work back into her life because she loved working. Tracy was doing what so many of us do when we feel like weve put in a good day in the job search. She was looking for a finance or accounting role, and she had just spent the last nine months very diligently researching companies online and ap*ing for jobs with no results.

I met Tracy in June of 20xx, when the Today Show asked me if I could work with her to see if I could help her turn things around. The first thing I told Tracy was she had to get out of the house. I told her she had to go public with her job search and tell everyone she knew about her interest in returning to work. I also told her, "You are going to have a lot of conversations that dont go anywhere. Expect that, and dont be discouraged by it. There will be a handful that ultimately lead to a job opportunity."

Ill tell you what happened with Tracy in a little bit, but I want to share with you a discovery that I made when I was returning to work after my own career break of 11 years out of the full-time workforce. And that is, that peoples view of you is frozen in time. What I mean by this is, when you start to get in touch with people and you get back in touch with those people from the past, the people with whom you worked or went to school, they are going to remember you as you were before your career break. And thats even if your sense of self has diminished over time, as happens with so many of us the farther removed we are from our professional identities. So for example, you might think of yourself as someone who looks like this. This is me, crazy after a day of driving around in my minivan. Or here I am in the kitchen. But those people from the past, they dont know about any of this. They only remember you as you were, and its a great confidence boost to be back in touch with these people and hear their enthusiasm about your interest in returning to work.

Theres one more thing I remember vividly from my own career break. And that was that I hardly kept up with the business news. My background is in finance, and I hardly kept up with any news when I was home caring for my four young children. So I was afraid Id go into an interview and start talking about a company that didnt exist anymore. So I had to resubscribe to the Wall Street Journal and read it for a good six months cover to cover before I felt like I had a handle on what was going on in the business world again.

I believe relaunchers are a gem of the workforce, and heres why. Think about our life stage: for those of us who took career breaks for childcare reasons, we have fewer or no maternity leaves. We did that already. We have fewer spousal or partner job relocations. Were in a more settled time of life. We have great work experience. We have a more mature perspective. Were not trying to find ourselves at an employers expense. Plus we have an energy, an enthusiasm about returning to work precisely because weve been away from it for a while.

On the flip side, I speak with employers, and here are two concerns that employers have about hiring relaunchers.

The first one is, employers are worried that relaunchers are technologically obsolete. Now, I can tell you, having been technologically obsolete myself at one point, that its a temporary condition. I had done my financial ****ysis so long ago that I used Lotus 1-2-3. I dont know if anyone can even remember back that far, but I had to relearn it on Excel. It actually wasnt that hard. A lot of the commands are the same. I found PowerPoint much more challenging, but now I use PowerPoint all the time. I tell relaunchers that employers expect them to come to the table with a working knowledge of basic office management software. And if theyre not up to speed, then its their responsibility to get there. And they do.

The second area of concern that employers have about relaunchers is theyre worried that relaunchers dont know what they want to do. I tell relaunchers that they need to do the hard work to figure out whether their interests and skills have changed or have not changed while they have been on career break. Thats not the employers job. Its the relaunchers responsibility to demonstrate to the employer where they can add the most value.

Back in 20xx I started noticing something. I had been tracking return to work programs since 20xx, and in 20xx, I started noticing the use of a short-term paid work opportunity, whether it was called an internship or not, but an internship-like experience, as a way for professionals to return to work. I saw Goldman Sachs and Sara Lee start corporate reentry internship programs. I saw a returning engineer, a nontraditional reentry candidate, ap* for an entry-level internship program in the military, and then get a permanent job afterward. I saw two universities integrate internships into mid-career executive education programs.

So I wrote a report about what I was seeing, and it became this article for Harvard Business Review called "The 40-Year-Old Intern." I have to thank the editors there for that title, and also for this artwork where you can see the 40-year-old intern in the midst of all the college interns. And then, courtesy of Fox Business News, they called the concept "The 50-Year-Old Intern."

So five of the biggest financial services companies have reentry internship programs for returning finance professionals. And at this point, hundreds of people have participated. These internships are paid, and the people who move on to permanent roles are commanding competitive salaries. And now, seven of the biggest engineering companies are piloting reentry internship programs for returning engineers as part of an initiative with the Society of Women Engineers. Now, why are companies embracing the reentry internship? Because the internship allows the employer to base their hiring decision on an actual work sample instead of a series of interviews, and the employer does not have to make that permanent hiring decision until the internship period is over. This testing out period removes the perceived risk that some managers attach to hiring relaunchers, and they are attracting excellent candidates who are turning into great hires.

Think about how far we have come. Before this, most employers were not interested in engaging with relaunchers at all. But now, not only are programs being developed specifically with relaunchers in mind, but you cant even ap* for these programs unless you have a gap on your résumé.

This is the mark of real change, of true institutional shift, because if we can solve this problem for relaunchers, we can solve it for other career transitioners too. In fact, an employer just told me that their veterans return to work program is based on their reentry internship program. And theres no reason why there cant be a retiree internship program. Different pool, same concept.

So let me tell you what happened with Tracy Shapiro. Remember that she had to tell everyone she knew about her interest in returning to work. Well, one critical conversation with another parent in her community led to a job offer for Tracy, and it was an accounting job in a finance department. But it was a temp job. The company told her there was a possibility it could turn into something more, but no guarantees. This was in the fall of 20xx. Tracy loved this company, and she loved the people and the office was less than 10 minutes from her house. So even though she had a second job offer at another company for a permanent full-time role, she decided to take her chances with this internship and hope for the best. Well, she ended up blowing away all of their expectations, and the company not only made her a permanent offer at the beginning of 20xx, but they made it even more interesting and challenging, because they knew what Tracy could handle.

Fast forward to 20xx, Tracys been promoted. Theyve paid for her to get her MBA at night. Shes even hired another relauncher to work for her. Tracys temp job was a tryout, just like an internship, and it ended up being a win for both Tracy and her employer.

Now, my goal is to bring the reentry internship concept to more and more employers. But in the meantime, if you are returning to work after a career break, dont hesitate to suggest an internship or an internship-like arrangement to an employer that does not have a formal reentry internship program. Be their first success story, and you can be the example for more relaunchers to come.

  Thank you.

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being’s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing appetite for what’s next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart, there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, courage and power from man and from the infinite, so long as you are young.

When your aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you’ve grown old, even at 20; but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there’s hope you may die young at 80.

  朋友是一种语言,想在暗夜之后的日出;

  朋友是一颗星星,点缀你的价值与色彩;

  朋友是你走进考场握着你的手说“我相信你”的话语;

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

First I want to ask you some questions:

1、 Do you know what is youth?

2、 How do you master your youth? /

  Youth

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshne; it is the freshneof the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wirelestation : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

  Thank you!

The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. For example , forest destruction results in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather. In addition, man is faced with problems of water pollution and air pollution.

A lot of measures have been taken. Planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment. Besides, laws concerning environmental protection have been put into effect and achieved good results.

However, the problem of environmental protection remains far from being solved. On the one hand, the environment pollution and destruction are getting worse and worse in the modern world. On the other hand, the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders the solving of the problem. 《Do you have a soccer ball》说课稿

以下是小编为大家整理的《Do you have a soccer ball》说课稿,仅供参考,大家一起来看看吧。

《Do you have a soccer ball》

Unit 5 Do you have a soccer ball

  Good morning, ladies and gentlemen:

Nice to meet you here. I'd like to say it's a good chance for me to learn from you .Here, my speech contains 4 parts. I would like to introduce them here with your great help.

  I. The ****ysis of teaching material:

My speech is Section A , Unit 5. Do you have a soccer ball This is an important lesson in Book One. And it is the first lesson of this unit, it talks about recognizing objects(mainly about balls) and the simple question. .The students have already known to answer it"Yes" or "No" in Unit 2 ,but in this unit, it's different. We know, simple question is a kind of important structure. If the students can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the students to learn the special question. And it's related to our daily life closely, so it's very useful.

New words: basketball, soccer ball, volleyball, ping-pong ball, ping-pong bat, tennis, tennis racket.

Structure: Do you have Does he /she have

  Teaching aims:

  Aims on the knowledge:

To study the words about balls by showing the pictures.

To make the students know how to ask whether others have something or not, and how to answer it.

  Aims on the abilities:

To develop the students' ability of listening ,speaking, reading and writing.

To train the students' ability of communication.

  Aims on the emotion:

⑴.To make the students be interested in good co-operation and competition.

⑵To make the students love sports ,love life.

Teaching key points and difficult points:

How to make the students understand the new language items naturally.

How to make the students work well with their partners.

How to arouse their interest in learning English.

How to make dialogues and act them out.

  Ⅱ.Teaching methods I will take.

  1."Communicative" teaching method.

  2. "Task-based" teaching method.

Everyone knows that the main aims of learning English in middle school is to cultivate the students' basic abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing, and their good sense of the English language.

  Ⅲ. Learning methods.

Firstly, Look, listen, and say to gain language competence.

Secondly, Teamwork, exploration and participation to reach the goal.

Thirdly, Cultivate skills in listening, speaking, reading and expressing.

Fourthly, Students-centered and teacher-guided learning strategies. I'm not a teacher but a guider. I'm ready to give them help whenever they need and re-correct the mistakes while talking.

  Ⅳ.Teaching procedure design.

  Step1. Warm-up.

Ask the students some easy questions to check if they have remembered the contents they had learned before. For example: What's this Spell it, please. What color is it Is this your pen Is that your backpack and so on.

  Step2. Presentation.

  1. Take out a ping-pong ball and ask the students:What's this Why I take out a ping-pong ball here I think it's the easiest and the most popular in our country.

  2. Leading in new words : here I will play some short plays, they are soccer game, volleyball game, ping-pong competition and an advertisiment, there is a basketball in it.

The reason of my design: I think the students can learn the words easily and directly in this way. And I also think it can draw the students' attention and arouse their interest in learning English. With the help of the CAI, it can provide a real situation to understand the meaning of the words, not by presenting the new words one by one and telling them the Chinese meaning. So the students can remember the words quickly and naturally.

How to help the students remember the new word, I think I will do it like this: When the word appears under the picture, there may be some students know the word and they will read it out loudly, this time, you may need to correct the pronunciation and teach it, after one or two times, I will ask the students to spell it by themselves. Why I must ask them to spell it themselves, I think it can make them have a general impression of the word. Usually, when you teach them read, most of the students just follow you, they don't look at the word at all. Perhaps, you have taught ten times and they can read it very well following you , but after you teach some more words and ask them to read it again ,they may not be able to.

  3.Teaching the dialogue:

Make a sample dialogue with a student. Show him or her the ping-pong ball and do it like this:

T: I have a ping-pong ball. Do you have a ping-pong ball (Here, you may help him answer "Yes, I do." or "No, I don't.")

  S: Yes, I do.

Make the dialogue with some more students, and write it on the blackboard. Make sure they can read and understand the meaning. Next, ask a student if he has a ping-pong ball, then ask the others: "Does he have a ping-pong ball "Here, you must help them answer: "Yes, he does." Or "No, he doesn't." Write it on the blackboard. Teach the dialogue and make sure they can read it and understand the meaning.

  4. Practice: Read the dialogue by role play. But you must tell them how to do it clearly, make them to ask their partners what kind of balls they have. This time ,they must use the sentence "Do you have a "

  5. Groupworking and competition: Divide the students into groups of three.Give them an example first :

A: Do you have a basketball

  B: Yes ,I do.

A: Does he have a basketball

  C : Yes, he does.

Ask them to make a similar dialogue and tell them that it' s also a competition, after they act it out you will choose a best group at the end.

The reason of having a competition: I think it can encourage them to try their best and cooperate with their groupmembers well.

  6. Listening, listen to the tape and circle the words you hear. It's Activity 1a.

  Step3. Post-task. Starting a ball club.

In this club, there are four teams: a basketball team, a soccer ball team, a ping-pong ball team and a tennis team. I will ask four students to be the captain of each team. They should ask their classmates to be their team members. If he has a basketball,he should join the basketball team.

The reason I give this task: I think this activity is the consolidation of this lesson. It is helpful to revise and consolidate the contents we learned in this lesson.

  Blackboard design:

  Ping-pong ball /bat Do you have a ping-pong ball

  Soccer ball Yes, I do./No, I don't.

  Basketball

Volleyball Does he have a soccer ball

  Tennis racket Yes, he does.

  Does she have a volleyball

  No, she doesn't.

That's my speaking. Thanks for your listening.

《Do you have a soccer ball》

1、知识目标帮助学生掌握三会、四会单词如have soccer ball tennis racket=bat ping-pong volleyball basketball does让学生掌握句型的灵活运用

  教学难点:句型Do you have……

What is this in English和How do you spell it句型和学生进行双边活动,掌握本课所学习的新单词

I have a soccer ball……

Soccer ball . Soccer ball.I have a Soccer ball.

  为活跃课堂气氛,请个别学生为下列句子谱曲并唱如basketball. basketball.I have a basketball.

  5、新授I have……

Do you have a computer game?

Do you have a baseball bat?

Do you have a ping-pong bat?

巩固句型Do you have……

  运用下面的单词编写三组Do you have……

  Volleyball football basketball

DO you have a soccer ball

  New words:

Soccer ball basketball volleyball baseball football tennis ping-pong bat=racket

  I have a soccer ball:

Do you have a soccer ball?

  Yes I do. No I don’t
